Microsoft SQL Server is the data base. Metron is available in Windows environment and can be installed in workstation, client-server or terminal-server mode.
Metron is based on geometric and graphics libraries that represent the maximum technological level available in the world: Acis and Hoops. The spread of these libraries allow Metron users to import/export solid 3D models.
The technical-sales office of a furniture manufacturer interprets requests from sales points: Metron computerises this process, drastically reducing errors in production and delivery, also when used by less skilled operators. Metron also helps manage complexity deriving from special elements and conditions.
Metron helps the dealer create projects in the pre-sale stage, to provide the end customer with a custom project, with the latest libraries issued by the company, error-free and quickly.
To use Metron you need to be a Tesy Software manufacturer customer or the authorised dealer of one of these manufacturers and have a licence issued by Tesy Software.
The suggested technical requirements are listed here.
TRend is an essential tool for the expo office and the shows office that need to propose solutions for stand and exhibition corner set-ups or to manage major job orders: TRend processes what has been created with Metron to provide a realistic reproduction of the room and a virtual preview of the end result. It can also be useful for sampling new products and checking the aesthetics of new finishes.
To enthuse the customer and persuade him/her to make the purchase. This is possible by creating photorealistic shots or artistic illustrations of what has been prepared on Metron, thereby providing the end customer with a real idea (on video or paper) of the composition.
TRend works exclusively with the Metron graphics configurator.
To use TRend you need to be a Tesy Software manufacturer customer or an authorised dealer of one of these manufacturers and have a licence issued by Tesy Software.
The characteristics of the two versions are summarised here.

The database is Microsoft SQL Server. FixSystem is available in a Windows environment and can be installed in workstation, client-server or terminal-server mode.
FixSystem is based on the Silver Screen graphics engine and it receives 3D solid models of accessories from it. The availability of Silver Screen input/output interfaces with the most popular 3D graphics formats (DXF, IGES, etc.) allows you to import/export symbols from other environments.
In order to use FixSystem, you must be a furniture retailer who markets collections available in the FixSystem environment and have a license from Tesy Software.
If you see a ‘CODE’ instead of your key number on ‘Password management’ mask, it means that your key is not properly read. The instructions to solve this issue are available here.

Virtuo creates a virtual experience exclusively starting from the projects developed with the Metron graphics configurator.
No, the installation and activation of Virtuo are unique, regardless of the number of manufacturing companies for which Metron is used. As these companies join the Virtuo project, it becomes possible to obtain a virtual experience for all the projects developed with the different Metron used.
